Position: Sales Representative, Agriculture

Location: Regional – Account Based

Area of Responsibility: The Sales Representative, Agriculture will be responsible for supporting the company’s sales activity with assigned customers.

Accountabilities:

  • Achieve top line revenue and strategic product goals for assigned customers
  • Work with a Precision Account Manager to build customer objectives and time and territory management planning
  • Conduct product information and sales training for customer sales, marketing and technical personnel
  • Maintain a database of customers and making daily entries of activities and follow up needed to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct field/customer-based product demonstrations and data collection for use in marketing communications collateral
  • Utilize Integrity Selling Process
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related agricultural discipline preferred
  • 1-3 years of sales/marketing experience or college course work a plus
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and computer/ presentation skills required
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time required

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed in an indoor office setting with extended periods at a computer sitting or standing.
  • Physical effort is needed to move, lift, or carry office equipment or supplies.
  • Occasionally lift 10-40 lbs.
  • Use of computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, and other office equipment.
  • Walking through fields or customer warehouse / operations
  • Putting up plot signs
