Precision launches Domino™, a new irrigation injection surfactant

WAUKEGAN, ILL. (May 22, 2018)— Precision Laboratories introduces Domino for the 2018 growing season to improve the efficiency of water for irrigated crops.

Many growers experience issues with irrigation water reaching the crop due to run-off and lack of uniform distribution in the soil. Water stress negatively affects crop establishment, plant health, crop yield & quality, nutrient uptake, and the performance of soil-applied inputs. Growers may apply additional irrigation to address these issues, adding to their cost of water and the energy needed to pump it.

“Providing growers with irrigation chemistries that allow them to improve their return on investment is an important initiative at Precision,” said Don Spier, Water Management Product Manager for Precision. “We believe that Domino represents the most innovative irrigation surfactant available to the grower today.”

The four, unique irrigation surfactants in Domino have been shown to improve the yield and quality of both field crops and specialty crops by optimizing the plant’s ability to utilize nutrients. Domino also improves the infiltration of irrigation and rainfall into and throughout the plant rootzone, which makes water available to the plant over time and reduces the amount of irrigation required to sustain the crop.

Domino improves a grower’s yield and return on investment by:

  • Reducing run-off.
  • Moving water uniformly though the plant rootzone.
  • Optimizing the performance of nutrients and other inputs.
  • Reducing crop stress.
  • Allowing growers to conserve water and the energy needed to pump it.

Domino now joins Precision’s portfolio of irrigation injection surfactants that includes: Tolero™, Corso™, and Quickin™. Please visit www.precisionlab.com for more information.
