The GCSAA Education Conference, held in conjunction with the Golf Industry Show (Feb. 6-7), is the largest educational conference in the turfgrass management industry. Covering all ranges of golf course management, including agronomics, environmental management, leadership, communication and business management information, the conference includes more than 100 seminars, as well as numerous education sessions.
"We appreciate the support Precision Laboratories provides to GCSAA and its members," GCSAA Chief Executive Officer Rhett Evans said. "Our education is respected worldwide for its quality and is considered the best the golf course management industry has to offer. We could not provide such a program without the support of great partners such as Precision Laboratories."
Session topics focus on a variety of subjects ranging from water management on golf courses, hiring staff, utilizing photography, enhancing communications skills, job interview tips and techniques, fostering sustainability of the golf course, efficient irrigation, and numerous others.
"Precision Laboratories is extremely proud to be the title sponsor of the education sessions at the 2013 GCSAA Education Conference in San Diego," said Don Spier, vice president for Precision Laboratories' professional turf business. "One of our core values is 'we learn and improve,' so making the decision to partner with GCSAA in this capacity was easy."
The education sessions are directed by subject matter experts on a variety of topics, and are structured for shorter time periods than the traditional seminar offerings. There will be more than 50 hours of education sessions, accessible to those who register for the full-package option, during the five days of the conference.
