SeedZone IF is based on patented carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) technology that enhances the moisture environment in the furrow when applied at planting to improve nutrient availability and uptake. It is compatible with most furrow-applied crop inputs and is effective across a wide range of crops and soil types.
“Traveling the countryside this year looking at our SeedZone IF trials has been very rewarding. I’m seeing increased vegetative growth both above and below ground,” says Dustin Griffin, Technical Product Manager at Precision. “Crop response has been consistent in more than 50 on-farm trials when compared to standard grower practices. We are seeing a 17.5% nitrogen increase in tissue samples taken at V4 and R1, along with improvement in nutrient uptake with most other macro- and micro- nutrients. Additionally, we’ve seen an increase in microbial activity via CO2 microburst based on results of the Haney test.”
SeedZone IF can be applied directly in the seed furrow, y-drop, or 2x2, depending on planter set-up and the other products being applied. With increased moisture, nitrogen, and potassium availability, SeedZone IF provides season-long crop development benefits, giving growers an excellent potential for a return on their investment.
