WAUKEGAN, ILL. (March 18, 2019) – Specialty crop growers now have more options to improve the performance of their spray applications. Precision Laboratories introduces the Tacheon™ line, a group of silicone-based adjuvants designed to reduce the surface tension of spray solutions. This results in improved wetting, sticking and/or spreading, depending on the specific formulation. The Tacheon products are all NPE/APE free for crop safety and have a variety of features so that recommendations can be tailored to meet specific grower needs.
WAUKEGAN, ILL. (March 5, 2020) – Precision Laboratories introduces Precisive, a high-load nonionic surfactant with built-in deposition aids and drift reduction technology. Precisive reduces the risk of off-target movement while delivering more spray solution on-target, improving canopy penetration, and increasing leaf surface coverage.
WAUKEGAN, ILL. (November 11, 2019) – Precision Laboratories is adding a new seed coating polymer to the PRISM™ line. PRISM SCP2020 is designed for optimized coverage, minimum dust-off, maximum retention of actives, improved seed flow and enhanced plantability.
PRISM SCP2020 improves seed to seed uniformity and treatment delivery. The minimum dust-off feature delivers enhanced operator and environmental safety along with treatment efficacy. This also maximizes retention, ensuring that the active ingredient is delivered to the field for treatment performance. Improved seed flow reduces treater bridging for application and planting ease, which can ultimately improve stand and yield.
WAUKEGAN, ILL. (September 3, 2019)—Precision Laboratories expands its offering of Irrigation Water Optimizers with the introduction of Stretta™.
Stretta is the first plant-derived Irrigation Water Optimizer with fertilizer compatibility. It improves the availability and performance of irrigation water, nutrients, and other soil-applied products throughout the plant root zone, optimizing the growing environment.
WAUKEGAN, Ill. (January 7, 2019) – New resources are available to help applicators effectively combine crop protection products in a tank mix. Jim Reiss, Vice President of Product Development at Precision and Tim Overley, Applications & Research Specialist, were part of the team that contributed to Purdue Extension’s recently released “Avoid Tank Mixing Errors.” The guide explains many factors that can influence product compatibility. It is available in hardcopies or can be downloaded online for free.
WAUKEGAN, ILL. (May 22, 2018)— Precision Laboratories introduces Domino for the 2018 growing season to improve the efficiency of water for irrigated crops.
Many growers experience issues with irrigation water reaching the crop due to run-off and lack of uniform distribution in the soil. Water stress negatively affects crop establishment, plant health, crop yield & quality, nutrient uptake, and the performance of soil-applied inputs. Growers may apply additional irrigation to address these issues, adding to their cost of water and the energy needed to pump it.
